Switchcraft shouldered hex nuts for ⅜”-32 UNEF-2A threaded bushings. These nuts include a rubber grommet for use in sealed systems and also add a unique look to any build such as pedals or amplifiers. The large nut (W-SC-DRESS-1) is intended for panel or chassis thicknesses of 0.05” through 0.09”. The small nut (W-SC-DRESS-2) is intended for panel or chassis thicknesses of 0.095” through 0.125”. This AC adapter powers several older models of Dunlop pedals, which required a 3.5 mm, or 1/8”, plug as opposed to the 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel plug required by current models.

Four conductor Flexstrip ribbons cables. These ribbons feature a nomex insulator so there are no melting issues when soldering. Unlike typical ribbon cables, the wires are designed to distribute the stress of the bend and vibrations throughout the entire cable rather than directly on the solder joints. These cables are a great choice for PCB to PCB connections in pedals, synths, and other electronics. The spacing is .1" (2.54mm).

LM318 single op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The LM318 is a precision, fast operational amplifier designed for applications requiring wide bandwidth and high slew rate. They feature a factor-of-ten increase in speed over general-purpose devices without sacrificing dc performance. These operational amplifiers have internal unity-gain frequency compensation. This considerably simplifies their application because no external components are necessary for operation. However, unlike most internally compensated amplifiers, external frequency compensation may be added for optimum performance. For inverting applications, feed-forward compensation boosts the slew rate to over 150 V/µs and almost double the bandwidth. Overcompensation can be used with the amplifier for greater stability when maximum bandwidth is not needed. Further, a single capacitor can be added to reduce the settling time for 0.1% error band to under 1 µs.

CD4001UB quad 2-input NOR gate provides the system designer with direct implementation of the NOR function and supplements the existing family of CMOS gates. Features:

Hand-held IC extractor for use on a variety of chip sizes. The metal ends hook beneath the chip. When a pinching force is applied to the bends of the plastic, the metal ends clamp onto the chip and pull upward uniformly to avoid bending pins. This tool can be used on widths of 7mm and up.

The BC183A transistors manufactured by ITT. The BC183A is a general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. It is commonly used in fuzz pedals and has a reputation as a warm sounding silicon transistor for fuzz. A version of the BC183A, the BC183KA can be found in some vintage Fuzz Face pedals.

LT1054 switched-capacitor voltage converter with regulator in an 8 pin DIP package. The LT1054 device is a bipolar, switched-capacitor voltage converter with regulator. It provides higher output current and significantly lower voltage losses than previously available converters. An adaptive-switch drive scheme optimizes efficiency over a wide range of output currents. Total voltage drop at 100-mA output current typically is 1.1 V. This applies to the full supply-voltage range of 3.5 V to 15 V. Quiescent current typically is 2.5 mA. The LT1054 also provides regulation, a feature previously not available in switched-capacitor voltage converters. By adding an external resistive divider, a regulated output can be obtained. This output is regulated against changes in both input voltage and output current. The LT1054 can also shut down by grounding the feedback terminal.

Audio taper, vertical mount, dual gang Alpha pots with a 6.35mm shaft diameter. Dual gang pots are useful for stereo controls and other circuits requiring two separate pots moving in tandem. These 9mm pots are popular in DIY guitar pedals, synthesizers, and other projects. Mounting nut and washer included. See R-VAV-BX-DUAL for linear taper versions.

The P-K380 is a high quality Davies 1510 clone. This classic design can be found on countless pedals, synths, amps and other equipment. The set screw uses a metal insert for additional stability and durability. This knob has an infilled painted indicator and fits 1/4" (6.35mm) pot shafts. The P-K380 pairs nicely with the color matched P-K801-BRASS-X knobs.

This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Tone Bender Professional MKII pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKII boards were cut from stripboard, this board follows the same format but is completely ready for soldering with precut traces and drilled mounting holes. The build style is very straightforward on the Mk2. It is a standard stripboard build and follows a very linear circuit path across the board. The traces are gold plated making soldering easier than most stripboards. Additionally the plating provides protection from corrosion.
