NE5534 single op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The NE5534 device is a high-performance operational amplifier combining excellent dc and ac characteristics. Some of the features include very low noise, high output-drive capability, high unity-gain and maximum-output-swing bandwidths, low distortion, and high slew rate. These operational amplifiers are compensated internally for a gain equal to or greater than three. Optimization of the frequency response for various applications can be obtained by use of an external compensation capacitor between COMP and COMP/BAL.

The 2N3704 is a general purpose silicon NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The 2N3704 is primarily intended for general purpose amplification and switching applications.

Surface mount MMBFJ201 JFET. Commonly used in place of the discontinued through-hole J201. These JFETs can be found in many effects pedals, synthesizers, and other projects. The MMBFJ201 is an N-Channel general purpose amplifier JFET. This device is designed primarily for low level audio and general purpose applications with high impedance signal sources.

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. PCB for converting SMD SOT-23 transistors and FETs to through hole footprints. This adapter board fits SOT-23 packages. Solder the device to this PCB then attach wires or pin headers (sold seperately) to connect to through hole footprints on PCBs or breadboards. The white box on the PCB can be used to label the part with a marker. See image below for pinout.

2N408 PNP germanium transistors. The 2N408 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. The 2N408 was popularly used in the germanium version of the Fuzzrite by Mosrite along with the 2N2613.

2N1305 PNP germanium transistors. The 2N1305 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a TO-5 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors.
