Pedal Kit - Mod® Electronics, The Verb Deluxe, Digital Reverb
The Mod® Electronics Verb Deluxe kit is built around the Belton Digi-Log Mini Module (P-RBTDR-2H-X) for a great digital reverb sound. The Belton Digi-Log module was built as a replacement for traditional spring reverberation units.
Features include both Dwell and Mix controls, allowing the dry signal to be blended with the processed signal - from just a hint of reverb to deep, cavernous echoes.
The Dwell control adds an extra flexibility, providing a full palette of sweet reverb sound. Warning: The Verb Deluxe does not hold back on reverberation potential. At maximum Dwell and Mix settings you may be overtaken by a virtual tidal wave of sonic reflections.
The effect pedal operates on a 9V battery. For a longer lasting option, a 9-volt adapter can be purchased separately. The Godlyke 9-volt adapter (M-PAS-S) may be purchased separately to power your new pedal.

Product Reviews
I’m very pleased with the “Verb Deluxe.” For a digital reverb it does a fine job. As a kit you may want to be familiar with point to point wiring as it can be trickier than stuffing a PC board. The directions are well written and complete.
I built this kit a year ago and had plenty of time to test and modify this kit and i'll say that this is a suprisingly decent kit. At first I found the reverb to be to soft and muffled and decided to remove the .047μf cap on the output driver and proceeded to replace the dwell control with a tone control. This gave me reverb that had a "crisp, crunchy tone" that creates a "splashing" sound. the perfect sound for Surf Rock! The only two problems however was that the power supply had hum issues (which was fixed by using a high quality solid state power source). and when the reverb was turned too high it would go into feedback (a result of removing the capacitor on the output).
Definitely a huge letdown! I was expecting awesomeness based on the sound sample. Unfortunately, the reverb is just not very good. It doesn't sound at all like the sample.
Sweet sounding reverb. Easy to follow instructions, which is good because there are a lot of components in that box. I'd give it 5 stars for sound quality, but I'm giving it four and a half overall since the knobs are pretty close to the footswitch. It hasn't been a problem so far, but I haven't used it on a dark stage yet.
The unit is built like a tank and sounds great.
This kit would be quicker to assemble if built around a PC board, but it's easy to follow the instructions and works great. The sound is as advertised with a lot of control to allow just a hint of reverb all the way to a real echo chamber!
