Product Reviews

4.75 out of 5 based on 4 reviews

I have been using these tubes for the last 2 yrs,They sound pretty good..The main thing is Who you buy the tubes from..If you buy a Quad one tube will be bad and you will need to return..Out of the 3 quads I have bought I returned each one...Once you finally get a good pair or quad they last pretty good..Take it easy warming the tubes up,and how hard you play them They take about 10 hrs to set in..The Valve Art tube is bright with good headroom..If you are looking for "the brown sound" these are not the tube to get, there more for playing like The Who or Free.... Great Classic 1970's Marshall grind....If the tubes are bad you will know in a day or 2....So buy from a good tube store with No Hassle return..That is why I gave them a 4 out of 5.....

This looks like the Shu Guang EL34B. I am liking these more and more every time I use them. The consistency is about average for modern valves, so they won't last as long, and some will fail early, but for the price these sound very good, and even if you do need to retube every 3 weeks, you won't break the bank doing it. I miss the Shu Guang 6CA7 fat bottles! These are a very nice option in the EL34 assortment. Valve Art seems to possibly do some rudimentary pretesting, and seems to cull out the junk. For the price, I will grant 5 stars. If I were comparing with NOS, this modern stuff would barely rate one or two stars, but I am considering price and availability, in my ratings. The Chinese will, hopefully strive to make better and better valves. It would not break my heart to see them eliminate some of the competition, so long as they do it by making a better assortment of higher quality valves. - March 27th, 2015

I love these. I've tried other EL34's in my Hughes and Kettner, but always come back to the Valve Arts.

Great service and these Valve Art tubes are definitely under rated. Love the sound and hopefully they will last long term.
