Product Reviews
Works exactly like it is suppose to. It looks fine in chrome also. I'm satisfied with it. I'm using it on a beat up but great sounding
Music Man 212/65.
Well-made and decent length cable. My only suggestion would be to offer a version with stubby right-angle RCA plugs. I can't get an amp cover over my Dual Showman Reverb head when the foot pedal is plugged in. Every time I have to use the head, I have to uncover it and then plug in the foot pedal. When I'd done using the head, I have to unplug the pedal, store it back inside the head's cabinet and then put the cover on.
This footswitch box works great with my 1965 Fender Pro Reverb AA165. Thanks!
worked perfect.never had any problems with this company at all.
When my original footswitch started acting up and then stopped working completely, I fixed it. And then I retired it to the back of the amp after years of being stomped on. The new footswitch from Antique Electronic Supply works perfectly and will offer many years of service. It's terrific to know you can still get these for an amplifier built so many years ago. Thanks!
The pedal added a horrible hiss when activating the reverb. Cables should be replaced for better ones.
It works, but it is a cheap reproduction with really cheesy plastic RCA plugs that will fail in a gigging on the road environment. Even the new Fender switches are poorly made imported junk. Both items require nuts and washers to make the switches sit more flush in the housing and both require better plugs. If I am doing a full on vintage restoration, or a pro upgrade I rip the cables out, and I rip the switches out. We build our own special cables from scratch using very high quality mil spec aerospace grade wire, better components and we remount the two latching push button switches like someone actually cared about how it looks, and how well it will work. Having those switches sitting up as high as they can go is the epitome of being cheap.
Foot switch works great! I should have gotten angled jacks.
It worked great for my fender and I got the adapters RCA female to 1/4 Jack to use on other amps. Wish it had an on/off light.
I have two amps requiring these foot switches. The one switch I have is an original. Rather than hassle switching between the two amps I bought this second one. If you're not concerned about having an original, this works great and the price is very reasonable.
