Hi there. I have a Marshall Guv'nor pedal, made in England, that needs a new on/off switch. Will this one work? Thanks.
Asked by Anonymous on November 10th, 2016.
This is a standard footswitch used in many builder's pedals. This was actually used by one of our staff to fix the bad switch in a RAT pedal. In terms of it's compatibility with a Guv'nor it would depend on the specific era/model. This would definitely work with some versions of the Guv'nor. However,it always helps to do a visual comparison.

Is this a momentary or latch switch and is it soft click or any quieter than regular switches?
Asked by Anonymous on September 9th, 2019.
This is a latching switch with a tactile click when engaged. We do carry a momentary, soft switch at the following link: https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/switch-footswitch-spst-solder-lugs-soft-switch
Product Reviews
Used this switch to build an A-B switch. After I tried it out, my first thought was....I should put this switch in all of my production pedals.
