It will work in both a flat bottom or curved bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design, just sand off the tab for a curved bottom. It is pre-slotted to make for a quick and easy install. The PQ-4187-00 is a 3/16" thick block or slab of pure TUSQ. It can be used to make a nut, small saddle or just about anything you can imagine.

This graphite nut blank will work for most Fender® and similar style guitars and basses. It is NOT slotted and does require final shaping and fitting to exact size. It has a radiused bottom.

The PT-4187-00 is a great option to replace and upgrade the nut on just about any guitar or bass. It is a 3/16” thick slab of TUSQ XL. This nut is made of Tusq XL, the same material as standard Tusq but impregnated with PTFE. The lubrication from the PTFE prevents strings from binding in the slots. Tusq XL offers better tuning stability especially when using a tremolo or bending strings. Tusq XL also has more of a midrange boost as compared to Tusq. Dimensions:

The 6010-00 is the perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut on your Gibson electric guitar made before 2014. It is pre-slotted to make for a quick and easy install. The P-GNUT-TUSQ-EPS-4XL-X (post-2014) is slightly taller than this nut, when in doubt, choose the 6011, as you can always sand the bottom of the nut to adjust it lower. This nut is made of Tusq XL, the same material as standard Tusq but impregnated with PTFE. The lubrication from the PTFE prevents strings from binding in the slots.
