The PQL-6011-00 is the perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut on your Gibson electric guitar made post-2014. It is slightly taller than the P-GNUT-TUSQ-EPS-3XL (pre 2015). When in doubt, use this one, you can always sand the bottom of the nut to adjust lower.
This nut is made of Tusq XL, the same material as standard Tusq but impregnated with PTFE. The lubrication from the PTFE prevents strings from binding in the slots. Tusq XL offers better tuning stability especially when using a tremolo or bending strings. Tusq XL also has more of a midrange boost as compared to Tusq.

Single P-90 pickup with a nickel-plated metal cover. This new revolutionary design gives the sweet, warm chime and tone of the original P-90 pickup without all that annoying 60 cycle hum. Read the forums on this HP-90 pickup and don't let the high resistance fool you. Making its debut at the 2012 summer NAMM show, this design uses the hum-cancelling properties of opposing coils but defies the normal high output that would accompany similar resistance designs. Available in both bridge and neck positions so you can create a proper calibrated set and in black and cream plastic as well as real metal covers in black, chrome, gold and nickel plating! If you love P-90s and want to forget about not being able to use your favorite guitar because of lighting and power issues you simply have to get into a set of new Stealth 90 pickups. Recommended wiring includes using a 500K Ohm pot for volume, 250K Ohm pot for tone and a .022 capacitor as these are humbucking pickup designs.

The 1214-00 is the perfect option to upgrade the nut on your Fender Jazz style bass. It is pre-slotted for a quick and simple install. Includes all parts but the magnet wire, all sets are ready for winding. Kits include Alnico 5 magnets, bobbins, poll screws, slug screws, baseplate, and coil lead wires. PBA pickup uses Alnico 5 rod magnets and a knifeedge gloss-cover hot coil wind that delivers a forceful sound with pushed midrange but tight bass and treble response. This graphite nut will work for most Gibson® and similar style guitars and basses. It is slotted but does require final shaping and fitting to exact size. PLEASE NOTE: Because this nut tapers in both thickness from top to bottom and height on the fret board side vs. the headstock side all measurements for those dimensions were taken at the center of the nut.
