This set of six String Saver Originals is a perfect upgrade or replacement set of saddles for a Strat or Tele-style guitar. They have a center intonation screw and a 2-1/16" string spacing. Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster along with a hex key to adjust the saddle heights. String Saver saddles are made with a unique combination of materials made to enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage. Each saddle has the String Saver which is impregnated with PTFE, the slipperiest substance on earth. The PTFE in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage. Graphtech’s patented String Saver Originals are made entirely of String Saver material and provide a very balanced tone across the spectrum.

Original Fender pre-slotted bone nut for Teles and Strats.

This graphite nut will work for most Gibson® and similar style guitars and basses. It is slotted but does require final shaping and fitting to exact size. PLEASE NOTE: Because this nut tapers in both thickness from top to bottom and height on the fret board side vs. the headstock side all measurements for those dimensions were taken at the center of the nut.

The Graph Tech PQL-5072-00 is a perfect option for Fender guitars or re-issues from the 1950's-60's or 70's. This nut features a 7.25" radius, works with a curved or flat bottom and is permanently lubricated for great tuning stability. It works in both a flat bottom or curved bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design, just sand off the tab for a curved bottom. They require a preformed hole for installation into metallic materials but not necessary for wood or plastic materials. Combines locating point of Type A with thread size and pitch of Type B. Normal limitations of Type B apply. Has a general purpose bearing area and can be substituted in most applications for round, truss, or binding heads. Provides good control in driving and is the most recommended drive.
