This set of string guides includes the Gotoh RG15 and RG30 for string retention with a staggered height. One guide has a height of 2.5mm and the other has a height of 5mm achieved by using different sized standoffs. These string guides are a modern style machined metal with improved tuning stability. Round back cover for Gibson® Les Paul® switch cavities. These switch covers are made of single-ply material with three mounting holes and a foil backing.

Machine heads without a sealed gear are criticized for not having the same smooth performance, efficiency and durability that sealed gear tuners have.
