A useful product, IF you are using a Rean or Cliff style jack with it. A standard 1/4" Switchcraft jack, which requires a 3/8" diameter mounting hole will slop around loose in this plate's 0.43" diameter mounting hole. You can make it "work" by using a star washer and a top washer with the Switchcraft jack, but it is annoying. I mean, this plate is for 1/4" jacks, why WOULDN'T you spec it with a 0.375" hole??! (and let the Rean/Cliff jack users ream it out as required, while accommodating the majority of users that need to mount a 'real' 1/4" jack?

Installed this plate in a Peavey Windsor cabinet. Perfect fit and heavy duty. It should last many years.
