What is the diameter of the hole? In other words, what's the diameter of the flat sided shaft that this fits on?
Asked by Anonymous on October 26th, 2016.
Hello, this has a 1/4" diameter and is designed for a sold shaft pot.

Where are your diameter measurements taken from on the knob? Need to know to match vintage knobs on a restoration project.
Asked by Anonymous on January 29th, 2019.
The diameter given for each knob is taken at the base of the knob. They are designed for use on 1/4" solid shaft potentiometers.
Product Reviews
Made a great final touch for a refurbished SX-110 receiver.
These are classic looking knobs and will be perfect for the antique radio I am working on. It is an old Crosley 716. The chassis was restorable, and the speaker is fine, but the cube type cabinet was beyond my restoration skills, and it was missing the original knobs. I have long wanted to make a small, child size floor standing console radio, and this was a perfect candidate. I restored the chassis electronically, replaced the filter caps, replaced the paper caps, replaced the resistors which needed replacing, cleaned things, did a complete alignment. The chassis and speaker now work very well, and, in the evening, pick up AM broadcast band stations all up and down the dial on just a short antenna. The same is true on the two shortwave bands. The radio covers 550 KC to 18 MC. I have spent several weeks building and then finishing the custom cabinet. I am almost done, just waiting for some rubber with which to make some damping washers for the speaker and the chassis. These knobs will be the perfect finishing touch when it is done.
Knob had correct shaft size and set screw, most closely approximating the original it replaced, with silver cap, on my JBL N2400 crossover unit.
Very nice just what was needed good looking also ,I give you a Five star rating (Thanks)
Nice knobs, well made. Used them to restore a 60s-era amp. The knobs helped the project turn out really nice.
She is a monster knob. I love it.
