The HB-Classic is a vintage style humbucker pickup. It uses a made in USA Alnico 4 bar magnet which offers a uniquely balanced tone for an alnico magnet. This pickup is wax potted for sonic stability and uses a shielded 4 conductor wire for various wiring options. The HB-Classic comes in various open and covered options to match the look of any guitar. Mounting screws and springs are included. Made in Japan.

High quality potentiometers from AxLabs. These linear taper pots feature a ⅜” bushing and ¼” (6.35mm) solid shaft. The dish back style matches the construction of many vintage guitars. Unlike any other potentiometers on the market, AxLabs pots were specifically designed for electric guitars, utilizing years of painstaking attention to detail in the industry. AxLabs potentiometers feature machined brass shaft sleeves and are lubricated with 3 different types of grease used in specific areas of the moving parts for ultra-smooth rotation. Shafts are then reinforced with a retainer ring positio­ned for strength and to reduce friction.

The HCP Humbucker Control Pot is a dual mode variable coil tap selector for electric guitars and basses that eliminates the additional switches associated with coil splitting a pair of humbuckers. In TAP mode, rotating the pot counterclockwise fades from humbuckers to outer coils (neck pickup South coil & bridge pickup North coil). Pulling the HCP control up and rotating it counterclockwise fades from humbuckers to inner coils (neck pickup North coil & bridge pickup South coil). Tonal control is expanded with the unique ability to coil tap both humbuckers in varying amounts. In COIL FILTER mode, turning the HCP control applies varying amounts of a specially tuned high frequency filter to only one coil of the selected coils of the humbuckers (either North or South coils can be filtered). This makes each pickup a single coil at high frequencies and a humbucker at lower frequencies which produces a sound similar to a pair of single coils but with a stronger, fuller tone and 50% less noise than coil tapping.

Designed for use on arch top electric guitars. The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

The introduction of the new Grover Locking Rotomatics® gives you the ease of use provided by a standard tuner and the positive locking of our internal cam post. Simply insert the string through the string hole, pull to tension by hand and begin tuning. As you start to tune, only the locking cam in the string post turns. Once the string is locked, the string post begins to turn allowing you to bring the string to pitch. In less than one revolution of the string post, you will be in tune, to stay in tune. Gear ratio is 18 to 1.
