Bob Smith Industries ™ Maxi Cure ™ Extra Thick Gap Filling Cyanoacrylate. A must have for luthiers! Maxi Cure ™ is the highest viscosity CA we have available and is great for extreme gap filling and finish fills. It can be carved with a knife or razor blade and sanded and feathered to form a finish which makes it great for chip repairs. The extra thick viscosity of Maxi Cure ™ also allows longer repositioning time than other glues (10-25 sec.) Apply Maxi Cure ™ in a coil pattern to one of the parts to be glued, spread glue evenly, then assemble parts. Hold or clamp firmly for 30-60 seconds. To speed up curing time use the Insta-Set accelerator! (S-F506)

IC-LOC™ Purple prevents loosening of small fasteners from normal use and vibration, but parts can still be disassembled with hand tools. IC-LOC™ Purple seals and prevents rusting of threads. Uses

• Threads of fasteners
• Bolts
• Screws
• Nuts

Directions: Shake well. Unscrew cap and cut off tip. Apply IC-LOC™ Purple to clean and dry threaded areas before assembling non-plastic parts. Product sets in 10 minutes, with full cure within 24 hours. IC-LOC™ Purple is anaerobic and cures in the absence of air, which occurs when a bolt, screw or nut is tightened. Cured temperature range is -60° to +300°F (-51° to +149°C). May attack some plastics. Remove residue with a damp cloth. Similar to Loctite Purple.

Bob Smith Industries™ Insta-Cure+™ Medium Gap Filling Cyanoacrylate. A must have for luthiers! Insta-Cure+™ is a higher viscosity CA for loose fitting joints in which the adhesive must bridge gaps or the parts to be glued don’t fit perfectly. Medium viscosity super glue is the most common glue used in many luthiery applications due to it’s cure time and viscosity. Recommended for binding repair and small poly finish touch ups. Normally, the thicker CA is applied to one surface and then the parts are held tightly together for about 5 to 15 seconds. For large surface areas, including those with close fitting joints such as laminations, INSTA-CURE+ ™ should also be used. To prevent premature curing, don’t spread the glue into a thin film. Lay down a serpentine bead with about 1" separations on one surface, then assemble the parts, letting the pressure spread the CA out. To speed up curing time use the Insta-Set accelerator!

IC-LOC™ Red is a medium thickness, high strength thread lock that is applied to the threads of fasteners before assembly. Once the IC-LOC Red™ is cured, the fasteners are permanently together and cannot be disassembled. IC-LOC Red™ will maintain its strength up to 490° F. Uses

• Threads of fasteners
• Threads that need permanent bond

Directions: Shake well and then apply IC-LOC™ Red to the clean and dry threaded areas before assembling non- plastic parts. Product sets in 10 minutes, with full cure within 24 hours. IC-LOC™Red is anaerobic and cures in the absence of air, which occurs when a bolt, screw or nut is tightened. IC-LOC™ Red permanently prevents the loosening of threaded fasteners from shock and vibration, while sealing and preventing the rusting of threads. Cured temperature range is -60° to +300°F (-51° to +149°C).

Baby blue micro fiber cloth for use with Lizard Spit or other polishing products.

Removes scratches from acrylic surfaces; significantly reduces haziness. More abrasive than Novus #2 and is effective for deeper scratches. Treatment should be followed by Novus #2 to buff and polish surface.

Un-Cure™ debonder will soften cured CA. If parts are bonded incorrectly or your fingers are stuck together, a few drops of Un-Cure™ will dissolve the CA in about a minute. Apply on bonded skin and roll apart fingers. Once stuck, use acetone to clean off softened CA, then wash off with soap and water. Since cured CA is essentially acrylic plastic, anything that will dissolve CA will also soften most plastics. Care must be used, therefore, when using Un-Cure on plastics. Separating plastic parts with a razor saw is usually the best option. Works Well On:

Directions: Un-Cure™ will soften cured super glue (aka cyanoacrylate, CA). To release bonded skin (not near the eyes) apply Un-Cure™, then use a small, rounded object like a paperclip to separate the skin with a peeling action, applying more Un-Cure™ as needed until the skin areas are debonded. Wash the area with soap and water.

Insta-Clean™ is ideal for removing price stickers and their adhesive residue. Insta-Clean™ will also remove scuff marks that regular household cleaners won't touch. Works on all surfaces, including: glass, cardboard, plastic, fiberglass and everything else. Uses

• Stickers
• Sticker Residue
• Residue on Glass
• Residue on Fiberglass

Directions: Spray directly onto the sticker to be removed. Let stand for 1 to 5 minutes and then peel off sticker and wipe clean.

Removes fine scratches, abrasions and haziness from plastic surfaces. Great for plastic radio dial windows. For best results, follow with Novus No. 1 polish.

Removes: Sweat, dirt, oil, smoke and spilled beer. Produces: Brilliant Shine. The World's Most Effective Guitar Polish! For best results use a clean Lizard Spit Micro Fiber polish cloth. Refrain from using a dirty cloth - it may scratch the surface.

Novus Plastic Polish Mates offer cloth-like softness in a disposable wiper. These wipers are highly absorbent, abrasion-resistant, low lint and extra durable. Package of 6 Mates. Using the wrong cloth when cleaning plastics can damage the surface. Standard paper toweling, polyester or rayon cloths can leave scratches in plastic. Alleviate this problem by using only NOVUS Plastic Polish Mates for all your plastic cleaning jobs. For best results, use with Novus Plastic Polishes No.1, No. 2, and No. 3

Bob Smith Industries ™ Extender Tip for CA glues. This extender tip can be used with all viscosities (Thin,Medium,Extra Thick) of cyanoacrylate that we offer from Bob Smith Industries™ and is compatible with both available sizes (1oz and 2oz) Extender tips can help you reach difficult spaces and control the flow of glue for more precise application.

Cleans and glazes plastic surface polish out and protect against small scratches, finger markings, dust build-up, and other markings. Significantly reduces haziness and is anti-static.

Replacement colored cap that fits over the S-F312 top. These are sold individually and the color is randomly selected

Replacement top that is on all of BSI's non-Pocket CAs. Perfect for replacing damaged tops on any of the CA glues. These tops can be soaked in acetone overnight to remove any buildup of CA on the inside and outside of the nozzle. Compatible with S-F500,S-F501, S-F502, S-F503, S-F504, S-F505, S-F550, S-F551, and S-F540.

Non-clog 6" long pipette for CA glue application. The regular tip is recommended for gap filling and extra-thick CA. CA is sucked up into the applicator by inserting it into an open CA bottle with the bulb at the end compressed, like an eyedropper The fine tip is recommended for the application of thin CAs. It can also be used for the fine application of Insta-Set accelerator and for applying fine lubricating oils. CA can be kept in the applicator for two weeks.
