Nut - Wide Dress Nut, Threaded Through, For Mini Toggle Switches
Threaded through wide dress nuts for use with mini toggle switches. This wide based nut is not capped allowing the nut to thread past the top of the switch’s bushing. The uncapped top can be useful where internal depth is an issue such as parallel PCB mounting. These plated dress nuts feature a wide chamfered edge for a professional and unique look. These work on any 1/4-40 UNS threaded bushing. Two sides are flatted for use with a tool when fastening.

I have a mini toggle that is 1/4 in diameter, that has to be in a 3/8 diameter hole. Would this wide nut make me be able to use that toggle for that hole?

The outer diameter is 0.46" which is larger than 0.375" (3/8") so as long as the threading is compatible with your toggle switch, it most likely would allow it to be used in that application.
