The 2N5135 is a silicon NPN transistor in a TO-105 case. This transistor is a close match to the rare 2N5133 but with higher voltage ratings and is in a larger package. The hFE range is less wide than the 2N5133 with more values in the range found in the batches used on vintage Big Muff pedals. The lower hFE range also makes these a great option for silicon fuzz pedals.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These large, skirted pointer knobs from Rogan’s PT Series feature a soft rubber grip molded over a solid polymer knob. PT Series knobs can be found on synthesizer modules from Make Noise, Mutable Instruments and others. Fits 6mm D-shafts.

High-quality USA made knobs from Davies Molding. The large skirted 1550 pointer knob is made of solid phenolic and features a white indicator line. The pointer has an overall length of 1.19” and the skirt’s diameter is 1.13”.

High quality axial-leaded electrolytic capacitors. These 021 ASM series capacitors are produced by Vishay BC, formerly known as Philips / BC. These capacitors have been produced for many years and can be found in a wide variety of music equipment ranging from vintage amps by Vox and Marshall to classic fuzz pedals such as the Fuzz Face and Tonebender. Two rows of 8 U-style terminals (16 total) on a black board. The U-style terminal strips are spaced 8.3mm apart allowing for more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick.

High quality PCB mounted DC jack made by Cliff. This style of PCB mounted DC jack style can be found on many manufacturers’ pedals. For barrel plugs with a 5.5mm external diameter and 2.1mm internal diameter. Three solder pins are available for tip, ring, and switch.

High quality phenolic knob with a classic chicken head design. This knob has an infilled indicator line. Fits 0.25” (6.35mm) shafts with set screw and brass insert.

Plastic wing knobs with set screws and brass insert. These knobs are a close match for the classic knobs used on Marconi radios and Neve consoles. They feature an inlay indicator line. The grip diameter is 0.693 inches with a 1 inch clear skirt. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

Phenolic PCBs with similar styling to the eyelet/fiberboard used in vintage equipment. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. The spacing between pads is 7.5mm horizontally and 26mm vertically. The two mounting holes have a 3.2mm diameter to fit M3 or 4-40 hardware and also fit the S-H190 adhesive standoffs perfectly. NOS OA74A germanium diodes from Amperex. OA74A diodes were used in many vintage electronics and also make for great clipping diodes in stompbox effects pedals. The red end is the cathode. OA74A is a near-exact replacement for OA81.
