Black Marshall-style knobs with a silver cap. This is the taller 0.766” version of this knob. The silver cap has no indicator line matching those found on vintage fuzz pedals such as the Supa Fuzz, Tone Bender Professional MKII, Shatterbox, and MKIII and MKIV Tone Benders. Genuine Hammand screws for use with diecast enclosures. These screws fit all Hammond diecast enclosures as well as any 6-32 UNC threaded enclosure. The thread length is 0.375”.

Two rows of 6 U-style terminals (12 total) on a black board. This U-style terminal strip is extra dense with 6.35mm terminal spacing allowing for even more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick.

Cable for connecting 9V batteries to pedals via their DC input jack. This cable is great for using batteries with pedals that don’t have a battery compartment or for quickly switching from a power supply to a battery. This cable is 3 ¼” inches in length. The barrel plug has a 5.5mm outer diameter and 2.1mm inner diameter. Battery not included.

Prewired cone-shaped LED bezel. An internal current limiting resistor is installed in this bezel and it can be used with voltages up to 12VDC. Mounting nut and lock washer included.

2SC828 NPN silicon transistors made by Panasonic. The 2SC828 is a popular NPN choice for fuzz pedals and can be found in vintage effects such as Super-Fuzz and Uni-Vibe pedals.

General purpose low-power NPN bipolar junction transistor, used frequently in hobbyist electronic projects. This version is lead free.

PCB for a Fuzz Face style circuit with PCB mounted potentiometers. Its very low component count makes it a great beginner project. Builders can use preselected transistors from P-Q2N1309-SET-FF with its included resistors for R1 through R4 for a simple and great sounding germanium fuzz. If a builder wants to use their own transistors, the stock component values are also clearly labeled on the PCB. The transistor footprints fit P-SGP-001 sockets making swapping transistors a simple process so builders can experiment with a variety of types and values. This board was designed for a 1590N1/125B or C65-sized enclosure, with the potentiometers spaced 30mm apart. It can also be mounted using the two screw-mount holes with the potentiometers wired off-board. There are two screw-mounting holes which are designed for M3 screws.

The AS301AN is Alfa’s version of the LM301A in an 8 pin DIP package. The AS301A is a general purpose operational amplifier. This amplifier offers many features which make its application nearly foolproof: overload protection on the input and output, no latch-up when the common mode range is exceeded, and freedom from oscillations and compensation with a single 30 pF capacitor. It has advantages over internally compensated amplifiers in that the frequency compensation can be tailored to the particular application. For example, in low frequency circuits it can be overcompensated for increased stability margin. Or the compensation can be optimized to give more than a factor of ten improvements in high frequency performance for most applications. In addition, the device provides better accuracy and lower noise in high impedance circuitry.

Painted phenolic knobs with a set screw and brass insert. These unique knobs closely match the colorful RCA style of knobs used on vintage test equipment, radios, studio consoles and other equipment. They are sometimes referred to as fester knobs. These classic knobs are painted to match the style of the original painted RCA knobs. The paint is a durable chip-resistant coating. The RCA style knobs feature an inlay indicator line. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

Zero ohm (0Ω) resistors in a carbon film axial package. These resistors are a similar size to most common 1/4W carbon film and metal film resistors. Zero ohm resistors are useful as pcb jumpers as well as point to point jumpers. These can also be useful for true bypass 3PDT wiring.

This nickel-plated steel adapter sleeve converts a 4mm shaft potentiometer to 6mm shaft, allowing for 6mm knobs to be used on a wider range of potentiometers. An additional 6mm to 6.35mm adapter R-VADAPT-25 can then be used to fit 1/4” knobs (sold seperately).

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features standard 0.1” (2.54mm) spacing. The board has a 30x15 grid (15 strips) and easily fits into 1590BB style enclosures and larger vintage-style fuzz enclosures. Each strip is gold coated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Features:

Original Dunlop offset grommets (i.e. rubber bumpers) used on the underside of the treadle piece (rocking structure) of wah pedal enclosures. Made in USA.

Screw mounted charge pump PCB for positive ground effects. This small PCB provides -9V when used with a standard +9V power supply. This is a great option for positive ground effects such as vintage fuzz pedals. The PCB has a low profile design and is a simple addition to any build using a standoff to mount the board. This board is compatible with the MAX1044, TC1044S, TC7660S, and LT1054 charge pump ICs.

LM386 Low Voltage Audio Power Amplifier The LM386 is a mono low voltage amplifier that can be used in a variety of applications. It can drive loads from 4 Ω to 32 Ω. The gain is internally set to 20 but it can be modified from 20 to 200 by placing a resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8. As this is an Op Amp it can be used in different configurations to fit in several applications. The internal gain setting resistor allows the LM386 to be used in a very low part count system. In addition a series resistor can be placed between pins 1 and 5 to modify the gain and frequency response for specific applications. These are found in many small audio amplifiers and even tiny pedal sized guitar amplifiers! There are tons of possibilities for this little Op Amp.

Staking tool set that includes both the anvil and swage/punch. The set works with standard turret and eyelet sizes commonly used in amplifiers. The anvil also can be used with Y style turrets.
