Pure Tone has developed a high quality 1/4" three pole (stereo) jack using a new patented design that improves upon and offers a more reliable connection than standard 1/4" jacks. The Pure Tone design features two springs for both the tip connection, a spring for the ring, and an additional spring for the shield connection. These help to secure the plug into place and create a greater surface area connection at contact points to improve stability and signal integrity. These jacks also increase the current capability of 1/4" connections.

Phenolic skirted knobs with set screws and brass inserts. These skirted circular knobs are a close match for the classic knobs used on Fairchild compressors like the 660 / 670. OPA2134 SoundPlus™ Audio dual op-amp with low distortion, low noise and precision. The OPA2134 are ultra-low distortion, low-noise operational amplifiers fully specified for audio applications. A true FET input stage is incorporated to provide superior sound quality and speed for exceptional audio performance. This, in combination with high output drive capability and excellent DC performance, allows for use in a wide variety of demanding applications. In addition, the OPA2134 has a wide output swing, to within 1 V of the rails, allowing increased headroom and making it ideal for use in any audio circuit. The OPA2134 SoundPlus™ audio operational amplifiers are easy to use and free from phase-inversion and the overload problems often found in common FET-input operational amplifiers. They can be operated from ±2.5-V to ±18-V power supplies.

Stripboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This stripboard features a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has a 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is surface treated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. OC139 NPN germanium transistors. The OC139 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and boost effects. This transistor is in a glass SO-2 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. The NPN polarity allows for use with standard pedal power supplies. The dot indicates the collector lead. The OC139 can be found in the EarthQuaker Devices Bows germanium preamp.

The AS395 dual monolithic PNP transistor offers excellent parametric matching and high frequency performance. Low noise characteristics (1 nV/√Hz typ @ 1 kHz), high bandwidth (190 MHz typical), and low offset voltage (100 µV max), makes the AS395 an excellent choice for demanding preamplifier applications.Tight current gain matching (3% max mismatch) and high current gain (100 min), over a wide range of collector current, makes the AS395 an excellent choice for current mirrors. A low value of bulk resistance makes the AS395 an ideal component for applications requiring accurate logarithmic conformance. To ensure the long-term stability of the matching parameters, internal protection diodes across the base-emitter junction clamp any reverse base-emitter junction potential.

Mod® Electronics Oil Caps are high quality, hand-crafted capacitors that are the perfect choice for guitars, amplifiers, and all audio equipment. Each capacitor is impregnated with mineral oil for a void-free winding providing highly stable capacitance. The capacitor is hermetically sealed in an aluminum casing to ensure a long life. Solderless (plug-in) breadboard with 400 connection tie-points (i.e. 400 wire insertion holes) and 4 power rails. Solderless breadboards are great for building and testing new circuits because parts can be easily inserted and removed making them completely re-usable. This breadboard has a 300 tie-point IC-circuit area plus four 25 tie-point power rails. The housing is made of white ABS plastic, with a printed legend giving numbers and letters for columns and rows. The internal contacts are phosphor bronze with a plated nickel finish and a peelable adhesive tape backing is provided for attaching it to a surface. Small 42TM018 audio transformers with a 10KΩ:600Ω impedance. This transformer is a popular choice for pickup simulators in various effects such as fuzz pedals. The leads are soft metal wire and can be adjusted to fit a variety of applications. RoHS compliant. Rated for 200mW.

High quality, made in USA lead formers. These are great tools for bending component leads to fit various footprints. The radiused ends provide a right angle bend that does not stress the metal lead. These lead formers are made of high impact ABS plastic.
