FZ-1 fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Maestro FZ-1 pedals. The board is styled after the original version that can also be found in early serial Maestro FZ-1A pedals. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. This board is intended for use with S-HEYE-A eyelets (sold separately). The build style is very straightforward with point to point connections. The BC547 is a silicon general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 package. The BC547’s typical applications include signal processing, amplification, and switching. The BC547 is available in two different gain ranges: BC547B and BC547C. Type hFE (IC=2mA, VCE=5V) BC547B 200-450 BC547C 420-800

This DC power jack is similar to those used on vintage MIJ Boss pedals and others. This jack has a 2.1mm pin for use with 5.5mm barrel plugs. Three solder lugs are available for tip, ring, and switch.

High quality R82 Series box film capacitors from Kemet. These polyester film capacitors have 5mm lead spacing, a minimum voltage rating of 63VDC, and a tolerance of ±10% or better. The small size, high specifications, and radial mounting makes them an excellent choice for PCB builds of pedals, synthesizer, and other audio equipment. The R82 Series is constructed of metallized polyester film with radial leads of tinned wire. Radial leads are electrically welded to the contact metal layer on the ends of the capacitor winding. The capacitor is encapsulated with thermosetting resin in a box of material meeting the UL 94V–0 requirements.

High quality miniature chicken head knob with set screw for smaller applications. 0.90" long nose to tail. Mini Davies 2300 clone.

High quality phenolic pointer knob with a vintage design. The retro pointer has a thick band that extends above the base allowing for easy manipulation of the knob making it a great option for rotary controls and switches. This solid phenolic knob has an infilled indicator line with a decorative diamond shaped top. Fits 0.25” (6.35mm) shafts with set screw and brass insert. This knob pairs perfectly with the smaller P-K356 knob.

Two rows of 8 U-style terminals (16 total) on a black board. The U-style terminal strips are spaced 8.3mm apart allowing for more densely populated point-to-point builds. The boards are 0.063” thick.

High-quality USA made knobs from Rogan Corp. These small pointer knobs from Rogan’s PT Series feature a soft rubber grip molded over a solid polymer knob. PT Series knobs can be found on synthesizer modules from Make Noise, Mutable Instruments and others. Fits 6mm D-shafts.

The 2N708 is a silicon NPN transistor in a TO-18 metal case type. The 2N708 is primarily intended for use in high speed switching and VHF amplification applications.

2SC828 NPN silicon transistors made by Panasonic. The 2SC828 is a popular NPN choice for fuzz pedals and can be found in vintage effects such as Super-Fuzz and Uni-Vibe pedals.

PCB for converting SMD SSOP-20 SSI2140 chips to through hole DIP-18 SSM2040 chips. This adapter makes the SSI2140 pin for pin compatible with the original IC. Solder the device to this PCB then attach pin headers (sold seperately) to connect to through hole footprints on PCBs, breadboards and IC sockets.

Genuine Switchcraft ⅜” knurled nut commonly used on ¼” jacks. This nickel plated knurled nut has a ⅜”-32 threading and offers a clean look on builds using these nuts. The ⅜”-32 threading fits other hardware with matching threading such as CTS potentiometers.

The Accu-Bell Effector offers reverb, chorus, and delay with adjustable setting and tap tempo. This module runs on 5.5V to 9.5V DC so it is easy to incorporate into effect pedal builds. Please see the attached datasheet for an example schematic.
