These pots are well made and a great value.
The Alphas are decent pots, use these in high voltage conversion amps, price is great from AES and fast shipping. The only issue I've had is when using knobs that are tight, pushing and pulling tight knobs on and often causes damage, so we are more careful now with no issues, and continue to use Alpha Pots.
Alpha pots are really good quality, with the exception of one 250K linear I had fail right out of the chute on a tone stack, but honestly that could have been a stray solder blob that fell into the works. Other than that, very smooth action, and they ohm out better than the advertized tolerance.
The pot I got was noisy. To Antique Electronic Supply's credit they immediately sent another. I haven't installed it yet. I suppose you get what you pay for, and for a buck and a half...
As described, good value
If you repair a lot of older tube amps , you better have 5 or 6 of these on hand all the time. Alpha potentiometers are dependable , and don't break the bank.
Nice pot, I like that they have all the different values that I need in matching style pots. Can't beat their prices. Good quality.
