This part would utilize a dual audio potentiometer as well as the push pull DPDT switch to give you more wiring possibilities. The main difference being a dual audio pot as opposed to a single. This would not effect the DPDT switch used for coil tapping.

Are these dual pots independent? Can you wire this dual pot as a pan pot?

The dual pots are operated with the single shaft and are not concentric.

These are rated up to 0.1 watt so as long as you are not exceeding the power rating they will work in any application.
