Potentiometer - Dunlop, Super Pot, Split Shaft
The Super Pots from Dunlop are high quality, high performance, volume and tone pots designed and built to last a lifetime. These pots are resistant to dust and corrosion so they will provide smooth performance without the noise and scratchiness associated with normal run of the mill pots.
Dunlop tested these pots past the 7 million turn mark. With results like that, these may be the last pots you ever have to put in your instrument.

Product Reviews
These are what I use in all my basses. I 've tried must of the "premium" potentiometers and these are the most consistent in terms of value, feel and build. The body takes solder really well and the rotational feel is perfect. not too loose or tight. Just wish the 500K came in a solid shaft. Not a big deal though
I would not mind the higher price if they had a better mechanical design.
The shaft pulls completely out if you are not careful. Be very careful with the splined version and make sure the knob wont be too tight before you press it on fully. Because if it is, and you need to pull the knob back off, the shaft will come right out of the body with it. If it looks like it will be too tight, take a small pair of channel locks, and very carefully and gently compress the upper shaft area parallel to the split. If you pressed it in too far, gently expand it back to tighten the fit.
I took apart the pot I pulled the shaft out of and was shocked at the cheap and crappy way it was put together. There are two tangs at the end of the shaft that are bent perpendicular to the shaft against a flimsy washer. This explained why the shaft pulled out so easily . I was able to salvage the pot by retensioning the shaft tangs, and then soldering them to the washer.
The metal used is very soft and poor quality.
And the seal between the cap and body is not tight and protected from moisture like you would expect.
No o-ring seal on the shaft to prevent moisture ingress either.
All in all very disappointing and underwhelming.
Definitely not buying again.
Over-hyped JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
