Potentiometers

Potentiometers are used to control volume and tone. A potentiometer is a three-terminal resistor with a sliding or rotating contact that forms an adjustable voltage divider.Check out our Tech Corder articles on pots, including Potentiometer Types.
Potentiometer - Bourns, Audio, Solid Shaft, 24mm
Solid shaft, audio taper. 24mm body diameter, 1/4 watt, 300 degree rotation, 1/4" shaft diameter, solder lugs, 3/8" bushing.
$2.95
Potentiometer - AxLabs, Audio, Knurled Shaft, Dish Back, ⅜” Bushing
High quality potentiometers from AxLabs. These audio taper pots feature a ⅜” bushing and coarse (T18) knurled shaft. The dish back style matches the construction of many vintage guitars. Unlike any other potentiometers on the market, AxLabs pots were specifically designed for electric guitars, utilizing years of painstaking attention to detail in the industry. AxLabs potentiometers feature machined brass shaft sleeves and are lubricated with 3 different types of grease used in specific areas of the moving parts for ultra-smooth rotation. Shafts are then reinforced with a retainer ring positioned for strength and to reduce friction.

Potentiometer - CTS, Audio, Knurled Shaft, ¼" Bushing
CTS pots with a shorter ¼” bushing length that is perfect for pickguard mounted pots. These pots reduce the gap between the pickguard and bottom of the knob for a clean, near flush look. The shaft is a fine (24 tooth) knurl. Nut and lock washer are included.
The Series 450G Guitar Potentiometer is the same robust high-quality guitar potentiometer that has become the industry standard for top guitar manufacturers. Featuring reduced shaft wobble, low noise output, and smooth rotational feel, the Series 450G is supplied with standard tin-plated rear cover and solder lug terminals.
