The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Product Reviews
Better build quality & sound than the original, would buy again if needed. Shout out to Antique Electronic Supply for quick delivery & excellent service.
I put this in my Crate V18, and it worked perfectly. The reverb tank these amps come with cause an almost useless reverberation when dialed past 2 or so, and this tank allows a nice, clean reverb with intensity that's useful 1-10 on the dial. NOTE: I suggest a tank bag. Although I didn't get one "yet" I used a cloth placemat to cover it for now as without the cover I believe the speaker magnet is strong enough to cause a feedback/buzz. When covered, it's quiet as can be. I'm sure this is what the tank bag is for. All in all, I recommend this tank. Thanks.
Perfect replacement for the stock reverb tank in my peavey classic 30 head. Appears well made and has very nice tone.
this also worked much better than stock
Great price and service, quick shipping, thank you!
Working great right out of box. Construction looks good and the sound is just fine.
I bought an oversized Blues Jr. guitar amp cab and wanted to put a full sized tank in it. After reading some reviews, I decided to buy the MOD 4EB2C1B and give it a try. I like the connectors they don't look cheep like the new China Accutronics tanks use. It looks like the OEM parts that are in my old Accutronics tank in my other amps. The sound is very clear and balanced. It sounds better than my old tank so much so that I am buying another and replacing the Accutronics in my Hot Rod Deville. Totally happy!
Bought this unit to replace the Accutronics tank in my Peavey Classic 30. There was nothing wrong with the stock tank, but wanted to see if there was any improvements. Definitely improved with fuller sound and slightly lower noise floor with higher settings. For 20 dollars it's hard to go wrong with this upgrade, both clean and overdriven sounds great. Great customer service and super fast shipping. Thanks!
