The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Product Reviews
I was a little hesitant to purchase a long decay tank, but I've never been more pleased. Dripping wet and delicious reverb that somehow isn't cloying or overpowering. If you like to swim in a sea of ethereal tone this tank is for you. Very addictive indeed.
Bought this as a replacement reverb tank for an Ampeg VL-503 combo. WOW, the sound is a huge improvement over the previous tank. Deep, lush, definitely long decay. What I had with the reverb dimed out before I can now get more of at 8:00 on the control. Very impressed.
Thank you for your timely replacement of the reverb tank broken in shipping.
This reverb tank actually sounds better than the original accutronics used by Fender in my Deville. very pleased.
Customer Service was above and beyond great in ensuring I purchased the right reverb tank for my needs: CS went over ohm ratings, delay time, and decay time, and even fished the tank out of the shipping department when we thought I'd ordered the wrong item, then returned it when we determined the tank was good for my needs. The tank itself is a HUGE improvement over the factory tank that came with my Vox AC 30 CC2X-it produces as close to a classic Fender Reverb sound is as possible with the Vox Circuit. Shipping was prompt, the item was securely packed, and the MOD tank is of top-notch quality!
