The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Product Reviews
I replaced an accutronics that quit on me; the Mod tank is working great so far.
I replaced the original issue Accutronics tank in a Dr Z Maz Jr 18. Very easy swap. This specific unit is recommended by the manufacturer for this purpose. Sounds great.
This tank is very reasonably priced, was delivered quickly, packed securely. Updates and contact by AES demonstrate a high level of customer service and support. Pleased to review and give 5 stars. Do shop here !
Excellent product provided vastly improved reverb on my Dr. Z Maz 18. Fast delivery also.
Good product, nice price, and fast shipping. Couldn't be happier. Maz 18 sounds better than ever.
I put this replacement Reverb tank, in a Dr Z EZG-50, it sounds really good, very very deep and swirling reverb sound, with a little less tail, then the original tank. It's also built a lot more sturdy, then the other tank, the transducers seem more solidly mounted and the cable jacks are riveted to the body of the tank, making them much more solid. A VERY NICE TANK, for the price, and VERY FAST shipping. GREAT JOB GUYS.
Had a repair to do on a Dr. Z amp. Turns out the reverb tank was defective. I read a review about this MOD tank as a replacement and the great sound it has. I was pleasantly surprised at the great price and quick delivery. I installed the tank and it was an amazing difference in the smooth sound of this tank. If you need a new one this is a great product for a great price, even with the exchange rate to here in Canada.
installed new tank in maz 18..bingo bango good as new...better
I installed this in a Mesa boogie studio 22, to replace the internal unit. Worked like a charm, sounds very rich, plenty of 'verb.
This reverb tank is a direct replacement for the stock unit in a Dr. Z Maz 18 Jr. It was a cinch to install and it sounds fantastic. AES is a breeze to deal with. Price was fair and I received the unit just a few days after I placed the order.
GOOD PRODUCT, VERY SATISFIED
