The Mod Electronics Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the Mod®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Drop in replacement for polytone amps. This tank provides a nice upgrade to the original without drowning in reverb.

Replaced the broken original reverb tank in my vintage (well if 90s is vintage!) Roland GC-408 Guitar Amp. Direct replacement, fitted in minutes. Back panel off 2 minutes, 4 screws and all RCA connections, sounds great, fast shipping.... What more can I say ! Really Pleased - Oh got stung an additional $18 from DHL - Maybe shipping to Canada or customs, don't know so it ended up more expensive than expected but still worth it....

Though it is not stated in the description, this is the correct tank number for the 90’s Roland Blues Cube 60s, both the 1x12 and the 3x10. I have both and the reverb on my 3x10 was very week. Since they each take the same tank, I simply swapped them to determine that the tank in my 3x10 had failed. This MOD tank sounds amazing. I like it so much that I put it in my 1x12 BC60 since I gig with that one more than my 3x10. I highly recommend also getting a tank bag (SKU: P-RBAG-9-A, Item ID: 010781) when replacing the reverb tank. I don’t know why mounting the reverb tank in a bag makes it sound better - but it does.
