I needed to make an adapter to test a Novar tube in an EICO 666 Tube tester as there is no built-in Novar socket.
This socket was the perfect size to fabricate the adapter using an old octal tube plug from a broken tube.
The adapter works perfectly. (Pins 1 through 8 to pins 1 through 8 respectively. Pin 9 on the Novar is not used.)
The socket advertised as magnoval is not!? It's a novar, it won't fit electro-hormonix 7868 tube pin size. Be aware.
