Great sounding replacement speakers for an 80’s Peavey Audition Chorus all solid state amp with clean, overdrive and chorus circuitry in a 10 watt rms box. The original speakers had foam surrounds that were shot. Not too many 6 inch musical instrument speakers out there. These brought the little bedroom beast right back to life. Great service from my friends at Antique Electronics!

Really good quality speaker with great sound for my application. I am rebuilding a 1961 ham receiver (Drake 2B w/ 2BQ). The original Jensen speaker was unusable and this speaker was a direct replacement. It fit the old screw mounting holes exactly. Couldn’t be better!

I upgraded my Fender Frontman 10 with this spkr and it made quite a difference from the stock spkr that came with the amp. It has a warmer tone, very clean. A very good upgrade for a small price

The speaker has a diameter of 165.8mm and a depth of 54mm. I would measure your current amp to see if this speaker will fit.

Will the 8 ohm speaker work in the champ 600 I live in Mexico and they don't ship the mod 6" 4ohm to Mexico and there is a 8 ohm speaker for sale her will it work?1 answers

Since the Champ 600 takes a 4ohm load, we would not recommend using an 8ohm speaker.

This speaker is not designed to handle the low frequencies of a bass and we do not recommend it in a bass amp.

This speaker is 165mm or 6.5" wide from one edge of the basket to the other. The actual cone is 6" in diameter.

This speaker is used in normal guitar amplifier applications. If purchasing the 4 Ohm version, you will want to hook it up to a 4 Ohm load. Same the the 8 Ohm version going to an 8 Ohm load. The only time a resistor would be needed is if your specific application calls for one.
