Speaker - Jensen® Vintage Alnico, 6", P6V, 20W
The P6V offers a tonal alternative to the C6V. Balanced and powerful for its size, its AlNiCo magnet assembly grants an extra-chimey character to the tone. This makes it a great choice for those applications where clean, detailed sounds on the edge of clipping are the key target for the player.
Guitarist Description: Warm clean tone with sparkling highs. It responds to overdrive distortion with a gritty bite.
- Lows: Tight
- Mids: Firm
- Highs: Bright
- Overdrive: Edgy

Will this work as a replacement speaker for my 1963 silvertone 3 watt tube case amp.Amp is built into the case my Silvertone Danelectro 1448 came with.
Asked by Anonymous on May 8th, 2017.
You will want to make sure that this speaker will physically fit in your amp. It is 6" in diameter and is 2.95" deep. Also, you will want to choose either 4 or 8 ohms to match the ohms of your amp.

I have an all-original 1954 Fender Champ Amp (wide panel).
The original 6-L Speaker has a slight tear.
Is this the "right" replacement for the original "6-L" that came with the amp?
Asked by Anonymous on April 13th, 2021.
There was no consistent speaker used in Fender amps from any particular era, so while these are certainly period correct for that amp, there is technically no single speaker that is the "right" one.

regarding my Fender Champ Amp 1954 wide panel, how can I tell if it's 4 ohms or 8 ohms?
Asked by Anonymous on April 13th, 2021.
One can use a multimeter to determine the impedance rating. Keep in mind the ratings will be approximate.
Product Reviews
Perfect upgrade for new Fender Champ 600. I tried other 6" speakers without much improvement but the Jensen Alnico did the trick.
