The Celestion Ruby is vintage voiced alnico speaker that straddles the classic chime of the Blue and celebrated warmth of the modern Cream. This classic guitar speaker actually started life as a radio speaker that was modified specifically for use in electric guitar amplifiers. In its original incarnation as the G12 T530 it appeared in several color variations, but it was the Blue version, fitted as standard into Vox AC30 amps, that secured its place in guitar tone history.The Blue found favour with notable guitarists like Brian May, due to its glorious dampened attack, warm lows, mellow upper-mids and brilliant bell-like top-end. When coupled with a suitable amplifier it evokes rich definition and develops beautiful musical compression when pushed. The Blackbird 12 is one of most revered speakers in the range. Not only does this AlNiCo guitar speaker have the highest (100W) power handling available, but it also offers the most refined tones. Powerful, warm bass range, balanced mids, sparkling highs, with both chime and smoothness. Excellent for the most high-end applications, where the details and the harmonic spread make a difference for the discerning users.

The Blackbird 40 is the first speaker in the Jet Series featuring Jensen's exclusive Reinforced AlNiCo magnet technology. The Tornado 100 is the first Jensen Jet speaker loaded with the 2nd Generation Neodymium magnet design that has since been extended to the Tornado Stealth line. The Tornado speakers are voiced similarly to AlNiCo speakers, unlocking their full tone potential. The Tornado 100 is an evenly-balanced speaker: clear, smooth, and well-defined with a solid, powerful bass range. The Tornado Stealth 80 is the Neodymium counterpart of the ceramic powered Electric Lightning. The Tornado Stealth 100 is the original Tornado 12, the first of the new generation of Neodymium speakers in the Jensen offering with an added stylish bell cover over the magnet. Possibly the most versatile Jensen speaker ever, it has clear, almost HD top end, well-balanced midrange and powerful bass end. It lends itself to a wide range of musical genres, with a smooth, never aggressive personality, from fast solo runs, to complex chordal harmonies, to soulful lead tones.

The G12H-150 Redback has been created for players who are looking for extreme power handling but refuse to compromise on great tone. Rated at a gargantuan 150-watts, the Redback is constructed with a supersized 2-inch voice coil and features the heaviest G12 magnet. The result is a guitar speaker that sounds 100% Celestion in character, yet is primed to withstand a pummeling from a 100-watt head all by itself, and still come back for more.The Redback proves that you no longer need to choose between power and tone. With a tight, well-controlled low end, detailed midrange and more relaxed treble.

Back in the late 60s, the G12H was created by fixing an 'H' type (heavy) magnet to the body of a G12M guitar speaker. Result: a speaker with more power and a different tonal balance: firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. So we added an 'H' magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback, create a speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H combined with Creamback levels of power handling. The result is the G12H-75 Creamback. It delivers 75-watts of power handling with ease and has unmistakeable G12H tone, with a tighter low end than the G12M-65 Creamback and a punchier, more dynamic high end. The H magnet brings additional focus, body and girth to the Creamback tone. It thickens single notes, resulting in a highly articulate, vocal character. These additional characteristics mean that the G12H-75 Creamback offers exceptional performance when used for lead guitar and sounds massive loaded into a 4x12 cab!

The P12Q is a lower power sibling to the P12N, with a smaller voice coil and a vintage steel basket, nicknamed the “hot dog” or “sausage” because of the shape of the openings in its basket frame. Warm and balanced sounding, with a nice bite in the upper midrange, it is a very interesting allrounder, for many different applications from the traditional country and jazz tones to the more aggressive rock and roll and blues application. Typically it was found in ‘holy grail’ amps such as the vintage Tweed Deluxe and other similar models as well as the Ampeg® Jet, Gibson® GA-20 and many more.

The G12M Creamback is perhaps the definitive vintage Celestion ceramic magnet guitar speaker. Developed in the mid-sixties, it was quickly adopted by players like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck and Page, who typified the louder and more aggressive blues rock playing styles that came to characterize that era.The G12M-65 Creamback produces the familiar woody G12M tone, but handles greater power making it ideally suited for today's amps, when a vintage tone is desired. The increased power handling brings with it low end grunt complementing the warm and vocal mid range, crunchy upper- mids and sweet, refined highs.

The N12K was developed in conjunction with Fender® as the speaker for the new Fender® Tone Master™ Deluxe Reverb® and Twin Reverb®. It delivers the closest sound, character and dynamic feel of the classic Jensen C12K with half the weight, thanks to the exclusive Jensen Neodymium magnet design (the same magnet used in the Tornado series). The N12K delivers a warm, full bodied tone with remarkable headroom and just the right amount of brilliance and sparkle. Guitarist Description: Heavy on the mids with a solid, straightforward tone. Used singly it exhibits a pleasing, strong low-end, but it's in a 4x12 configuration that it generates the great chugging "thump" that the guitar heroes of the day were renowned for. With a densely complex and buttery mid-range and a finely detailed top-end, the G12H is excellent for cranking out huge, dark power chords, with smooth and rich bridge pickup tones and flutey neck pickup tones. With fatter lows and brighter highs, it is slightly more aggressive than its Heritage cousin. Celestion Classic Series guitar speaker. With a heavier magnet than the G12M, this faithful recreation captures the unmistakable mojo of late 60s rock guitar tones.

The Vintage 30 features enormously detailed and complex overtones, a warm low-end, a famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top-end. Used singly to reveal the complexities in hand-wired boutique amps, or in quartets for a wonderfully intricate vintage 30 crunch, the Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings from a diverse range of notable players. Presented with overdrive distortion, it displays a crisp crunch.

The G12M Greenback has evolved over the decades but still retains its essential, sought-after tone. This version exhibits all the classic G12M characteristics but is voiced with additional broad mid-range attack and restrained top-end to give a forward, punchy attitude to chords and a searing lead tone without fizz. With its well-controlled low-end it can be used singly in low-powered amps, or in multiples for high-power rock heads. It's an ideal speaker to bring drive and definition to modern high gain amps. Very similar to its heritage cousin, this one has more aggression with clean and overdrive signals.

With its fast attack and tightly controlled low-end, the G12-65 became a firm favourite in the '80s with hard rock players. The precisely tuned midrange and crisp defined top-end contribute to an aggressive crunch sound that punches through the mix while the mid-range warmth and detail give weight and depth to single notes. Originally created as a higher-power handling variant of the G12M Greenback, the G12-65 is widely regarded as one of the best speakers ever produced for use in a 4x12 cabinet.

A firm favourite with lead guitarists, the Classic Lead features a tightly controlled low-end, with strong high bass / low mid punch, aggressive mid range attack and a powerful yet controlled top-end. for power chords it has the tone to make its presence felt but the subtle high-frequency roll-off makes it ideal for solos, able to project single notes on loud stages without becoming shrill. Celestion Classic Series guitar speaker. Developed in the late 1970s, the Classic Lead uses a fibreglass voice coil former to deliver an 80W power rating and a unique dynamic sound.

The Nighthawk – together with its Neo sibling, the Tornado Stealth 65 – is the only Jensen speaker fit with a 44mm (1 ¾”) voice coil. We selected this unique voice coil size as it is one of the key factors for a true rock-oriented tonal character.
