The Silverbird 12” speaker is inspired by the Blackbird 12 / 40 “Reinforced AlNiCo'' speaker. The Silverbird 12” provides a proper vintage tone that is optimized for contemporary players. It retains the delicate and detailed top end of its AlNiCo counterpart, crucial for a good clean tone and a clear and expressive midrange. Its robust and warm low end provides a solid foundation for an overall balanced, powerful, and lively tone, even with higher gain applications. The AlNiCo P12N is surely one of the most iconic Jensen speakers of the late ‘50s. Visually impressive because of the big bell cover on the magnet, it is the highest powered 12” speaker in the range. Among others, the P12N was used in the high-end amps of the time such as the Fender® Tweed Twin. Crystal clear in the treble range with transparent mids and powerful but tight bass, it is the “King of Clean Tones”.

The Gold is a wonderfully expressive and revealing loudspeaker, affording guitarists an unprecedented degree of dynamic control. Over time, the high frequencies of a Blue soften and become less chalky as the cone becomes more flexible – a much sought after characteristic that the Gold exhibits straight out of the box. The Travis Toy Signature Double-T 12 pedal steel guitar speaker features a tight low end, a midrange bite that can cut through a mix, and detailed high end without being too bright. Travis worked closely with the engineers at Eminence to achieve these characteristics and even managed to pack them all into a 12 inch speaker that weighs just over 7 lbs - less than half the weight of the speakers he replaced.

The P12Q is a lower power sibling to the P12N, with a smaller voice coil and a vintage steel basket, nicknamed the “hot dog” or “sausage” because of the shape of the openings in its basket frame. Warm and balanced sounding, with a nice bite in the upper midrange, it is a very interesting allrounder, for many different applications from the traditional country and jazz tones to the more aggressive rock and roll and blues application. Typically it was found in ‘holy grail’ amps such as the vintage Tweed Deluxe and other similar models as well as the Ampeg® Jet, Gibson® GA-20 and many more.

Used singly it exhibits a pleasing, strong low-end, but it's in a 4x12 configuration that it generates the great chugging "thump" that the guitar heroes of the day were renowned for. With a densely complex and buttery mid-range and a finely detailed top-end, the G12H is excellent for cranking out huge, dark power chords, with smooth and rich bridge pickup tones and flutey neck pickup tones. The G12M Greenback has evolved over the decades but still retains its essential, sought-after tone. This version exhibits all the classic G12M characteristics but is voiced with additional broad mid-range attack and restrained top-end to give a forward, punchy attitude to chords and a searing lead tone without fizz. With its well-controlled low-end it can be used singly in low-powered amps, or in multiples for high-power rock heads. It's an ideal speaker to bring drive and definition to modern high gain amps. Very similar to its heritage cousin, this one has more aggression with clean and overdrive signals.

The Celestion Neo 250 Copperback provides all of the musicality associated with classic Celestion speakers but at an enormous power rating and featherlight weight. This speaker supplies transparent tone with a tight low end, neutral low mids, clear upper mids, and controlled highs. The combination opens up the speaker in a way that can reproduce and accentuate the natural tonality and character of the amplifier. The C12K-2 is a step forward from the C12K. It has a different cone membrane which grants a more extended treble response to increase the detail and the shimmer of the tone, yet retains a well contoured smoothness. A modern, authoritatively voiced speaker, the Electric Lighting exhibits punchy, fast basses and crystal-clear highs, with a slightly throaty midrange. It covers well the ‘super cleans’ and ‘super overdrive’ tones typical of the most contemporary pop and rock music, up to the most extreme hi-gain, detuned or baritone applications.
