No, this switch is designed to stay in whichever position the switch is in and is not spring loaded.

Yes this is the switch you would use as an on/off for a champ, vibrochamp, etc. though I would suggest a visual comparison with your current switch to be certain.

The hole required has to be 0.48" wide with the mounting screws center to center being 1.125" apart.

You will need M3 sizes screws to secure this switch.

Alpha switch has a smooth positive feel as opposed to the battered switch it replaced. Hope it lasts a long time.
