It is rated 10A @ 250VAC/15A @ 125VAC. It says 1/2HP on the body of this switch.

Can anyone help me out with installing this in a blues jr? should the black or the white wires connect during standby mode?

My project consists of an RCA 2F21 monoscope CRT. It's called "the Chief" because it contains the famous Indian head test pattern from 1939. How cool is that? I am currently constructing the chassis and tube supports with a metal shield. For operation, I want to use the classic OFF/STBY/ON type of switch to allow preheating the cathode prior to applying B+. Antique Electronic Supply had the perfect part yet again. Great way to save some space. Can't attest to the longevity of it as I just got and installed it but it works great so far.

Well built Carling switch. Read a few negative reports about this switch when used as a power/stand-by switch in guitar amps, but this switch works well in my ckt (KT66 SE guitar amp).
