1 answers Is this switch housing and toggle metal or plastic? Why 16a rating when original Hammond switches were [email protected]? Why so expensive? Is there an equivalent carling or generic toggle switch that does the same thing? Is there another similar switch with one no and one NC set of contacts? Can you recommend momentary switch for start motor circuit of Hammond organ? Thanks

The housing and bat of this switch are metal. The reasoning behind the amperage rating and price are questions better directed toward the manufacturer. We do not carry an alternative for this switch at this time.
