Yes, both the Switchcraft and Gibson switches are SAE threaded so they should be compatible.

In terms of the Les Paul/Gibson style switch we wouldn't have an on/off. They would all be three way switches.

This one would not be ideal for an SG simply because an SG will have a thin body and this would not physically fit. The 90 degree angle version of this switch should work: https://www.tubesandmore.com/products/switch-switchcraft-pickup-selector-gibson-l-type

May arrive bent. For your installation in a Les Paul with carved top, you will also need to locate a deep collar nut as the supplied nut does not permit mounting in thick surfaces.

Heavy Duty. That is all you need to know. This switch will last an extremely long. Would rather work with a Long Toggle Switch than the Short simply by how the short is designed. Switchcraft makes great products. Thanks for supplying AES.
