J113 N-Channel Switch (TO-92 package) - designed for low level analog switching, sample and hold circuits and chopper stabilized amplifiers.

LM311 single comparator IC in an 8-pin DIP package. The LM311 device is a single high-speed voltage comparator. These devices are designed to operate from a wide range of power supply voltages, including ±15-V supplies for operational amplifiers and 5-V supplies for logic systems. The output levels are compatible with most TTL and MOS circuits. These comparators are capable of driving lamps or relays and switching voltages up to 50 V at 50 mA. All inputs and outputs can be isolated from system ground. The outputs can drive loads referenced to ground, VCC+ or VCC−. Offset balancing and strobe capabilities are available, and the outputs can be wire-OR connected.

LM358 dual op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. These devices consist of two independent, high-gain, frequency-compensated operational amplifiers designed to operate from a single supply over a wide range of voltages. Operation from split supplies also is possible if the difference between the two supplies is 3 V to 32 V (3 V to 26 V for the LM2904), and VCC is at least 1.5 V more positive than the input common-mode voltage. The low supply-current drain is independent of the magnitude of the supply voltage. Applications include transducer amplifiers, dc amplification blocks, and all the conventional operational amplifier circuits that now can be implemented more easily in single-supply-voltage systems.

2N4061 PNP transistors. This is a silicon PNP transistor in a TO-92 package. The 2N4061 has been used in a variety of effects pedals and is most notably used in the Zonk Machine II.

The BD139 is a NPN medium power BJT transistor in a TO-126 package. The BD139's typical applications include audio amplifiers and drivers but is also popularly used in silicon fuzz pedals. 5W zener diodes that are great for use in tube amps. These are commonly used to drop B+ voltages for tube modification compatibility or to create low power modes for the amp. A zener is a semiconductor device that, above a certain reverse voltage(the zener value) has a sudden rise in current. If forward biased, the diode is an ordinary rectifier. When reverse biased, it exhibits a sharp break in its current-voltage graph. Voltage across the diode remains essentially constant for any further increase of reverse current.

CD4017B is a 5-stage Johnson counter having 10 decoded outputs, respectively. Inputs include a CLOCK, a RESET, and a CLOCK INHIBIT signal. Schmitt trigger action in the CLOCK input circuit provides pulse shaping that allows unlimited clock input pulse rise and fall times. These counters are advanced one count at the positive clock signal transition if the CLOCK INHIBIT signal is low. Counter advancement via the clock line is inhibited when the CLOCK INHIBIT signal is high. A high RESET signal clears the counter to its zero count. Use of the Johnson counter configuration permits high-speed operation, 2-input decode-gating and spike-free decoded outputs. Anti-lock gating is provided, thus assuring proper counting sequence. The decoded output are normally low and go high only at their respective decoded time slot. Each decoded output remains high for one full clock cycle.

MC78L05 5V Linear Regulator. Used in MOD® kits. The TI version is the LM78L05. This fixed-voltage monolithic integrated circuit voltage regulator is suitable for applications that required supply current up to 100 mA.

TL064 quad op amp in a 14-pin DIP package. The JFET-input operational amplifiers of the TL06x series are designed as low-power versions of the TL08x series amplifiers. They feature high input impedance, wide bandwidth, high slew rate, and low input offset and input bias currents. The TL06x series features the same terminal assignments as the TL07x and TL08x series. The BC183L is a general purpose NPN transistor in a TO-92 case. The BC183L is commonly used in fuzz pedals and has a reputation as a warm sounding silicon transistor for fuzz. The BC183L was used in some of the earliest silicon Fuzz Face pedals. The ECB pinout matches the arrangement on the P-PC-FUZZ-ISS2-BRN Iss. 2 PCB

The CD4066B device is a quad bilateral switch intended for the transmission or multiplexing of analog or digital signals. It is pin-for-pin compatible with the CD4016B device, but exhibits a much lower on-state resistance. In addition, the on-state resistance is relatively constant over the full signal-input range. The CD4066B device consists of four bilateral switches, each with independent controls. Both the p and the n devices in a given switch are biased on or off simultaneously by the control signal. As shown in Figure 17, the well of the n-channel device on each switch is tied to either the input (when the switch is on) or to VSS (when the switch is off).

L78L33 3.3V regulator in a TO-92 package. The L78L33 three-terminal 3.3V positive regulator employs internal current limiting and thermal shutdown, making them essentially indestructible. If adequate heat-sink is provided, they can deliver up to 100 mA output current. They are intended as fixed voltage regulators in a wide range of applications including local or oncard regulation for elimination of noise and distribution problems associated with single-point regulation. In addition, they can be used with power pass elements to make high-current voltage regulators. The L78L series used as Zener diode/resistor combination replacement, offers e improvement along with lower quiescent current and lower noise. Features:

The CD4040B is a 12-stage ripple-carry binary counter. All counter stages are master-slave flip-flops. The state of a counter advances one count on the negative transition of each input pulse; a high level on the RESET line resets the counter to its all zeros state. Schmitt trigger action on the input-pulse line permits unlimited rise and fall times.
