Yes, you will need to drill holes into the sides of your amp to install these tilt back legs. You may need to remove the chassis to do this properly. Since some of the parts in the chassis contain lethal voltage, you need to use extreme caution. If you have any doubts about you ability to drain the lethal voltage from your amp please consult a qualified tech.

If you Google "BillM mods" you'll find a tutorial on his site for tilt-back leg installation on Blues Jr.s. You may need to change the measurements given there slightly to suit the angle you want and the version of BJr you have.

From doing a quick internet search, it seems that the 16" legs should work for your amp. To connect your head to your cab piggyback style you need the following part: S-H252, S-H253, and S-H251.

The 14" legs are the ideal size for small amps, but the Princeton 112 did not have these installed when manufactured, so additional holes would need to be drilled into the cabinet for installation.

The 16" legs are often used on 2x12 amps like the Twin Reverb. The 19" legs would be seen on 4x10 amps such as the Super Reverb.

With the amp's 18 1/2" height, you would want the 16" legs. Keep in mind, additional holes will need to be drilled in your cabinet.

There are instructional videos online for these tilt back legs. Doing a general web search for "Tilt-Back Leg Installation" should yield some results.

Excellent idea for hearing your amp better. All this time my knees were hearing the tones better than my ears were.....I wish I would have thought of these legs earlier !
Great quality and a perfect addition to any combo.
