GrooveTech
GrooveTech makes functional tools and tool kits for musicians.
Tool - GrooveTech, Jack / Pot Tool
Instrument and amp jacks are notorious for coming loose. And with a shallow nut and recessed cavity, access can be challenging. Until now, that is. The GrooveTech Jack and Pot Wrench provides three thin-wall sockets - ½", 7/16", and 12mm - in a compact four-inch tool to handle the most common sizes of jacks and pots on instruments, amps, and other audio gear. Add a dab of threadlocker, and you'll probably never have to deal with that loose jack again. Sockets are pro-grade with a dazzling polished chrome finish.

Multi-Tool - GrooveTech, for Guitar and Bass
Introducing the second generation of the GrooveTech Guitar/Bass Multi-Tool Introduced in 2008, the original GrooveTech Multi-Tool was an instant hit with guitar and bass players alike. Never before had a multi-tool provided such functionality or made use of pro-grade components. In spite of market acceptance, GrooveTech designers envisioned improvements and spent over two years developing a second generation tool that boasts significant advances. Like the original tool, both inch and metric hex wrenches are provided with ball-ends for truss rod sizes. Tool components use professional S2 steel with an attractive polished-chrome finish. Second-generation improvements include a 5/16" socket for Gibson and similar truss rod nuts, addition of 5mm and 1/16" hex wrenches, and a precision ruler with inch and metric scales.

Wrench - GrooveTech, Soundhole Truss Rod
GrooveTech soundhole truss rod wrench for acoustic guitars. Acoustic guitar truss rods need adjustment just like electrics, but manufacturers sure don't make it easy. Access is typically through the sound hole, sometimes through a brace to an unseen nuts. These wrenches allow quick access to nuts on most makes and models of acoustics, with a precision ball-end tip for easy fit, extra length on both segments of the blade, and an oversized handle for confidence when making adjustments. Professional-grade.

String Cutters - GrooveTech, for guitar and bass
GrooveTech developed the String Cutters specifically for Guitar and Bass strings. Guitar and bass strings are made of hardened stainless steel or nickel with thicknesses as high as 3mm. Ordinary diagonal cutters are designed for soft copper, and thus fail miserably when used on strings. GrooveTech String Cutters were developed specifically for this application, using a proprietary heat-treatment process. Despite its compact five-inch length, even “B” bass strings cut easily and your days of dented blades will be a thing of the past. Vinyl grips feel great in your hands.

Truss Rod Driver - GrooveTech
Vintage-style truss rod nuts have long, thin slots and are made of unhardened steel, so normal slotted screwdrivers will cause damage – as evidenced on many vintage guitars and basses. GrooveTech developed two screwdrivers specifically for this application. Proper adjustment involves removal of the neck for full nut access, and our Standard Driver provides firm contact over the entire slot width for damage-free adjustment. The Cheater Driver™ allows quick minor adjustment without removing the neck. Both have oversized handles with extra-long shafts for a firm grip and easy access.

Tech Kit - GrooveTech, for Guitar Player
Guitar players may know a little about truss rods and action, but few actually attempt adjustment. That's a shame, because a good setup will improve your performance. The GrooveTech provides everything you need to work on your guitar, plus an Easy Setup Guide that takes the mystery out of the process. Eleven hex keys are color-coded gold for metric and black for inch sizes, and long pattern for easy access. All truss rod sizes are ball end. Also included is a thickness gauge, ruler, capo, cutters, string winder, and 6-in-1 screwdriver.

Bass Player Tech Kit - GrooveTech
Not wanting to leave bass players out, we developed an alternate kit optimized for low-enders. The hex key set is matched to virtually all bass makes, and the string winder has been removed to save a couple of bucks. Like its guitar brethren, the GrooveTech Bass Kit has top-shelf tools that are lifetime guaranteed, and stored in a pouch that will fit into most gig bags. An Easy Setup Guide will make you comfortable with truss rod, action, pickup, and intonation adjustment.

T-Handle Drum Key - GrooveTech
The GrooveTech puts a new 'spin' on drum keys with a unique sliding 'T' handle that allows quick and easy changing of drum heads without power tools. The handle can be slid from one end to the other for extra leverage - especially useful for high-tension drum corps tuning. Fit and finish is top-drawer, using heat-treated chrome vanadium alloy with a polished chrome finish. The detachable ¼"' drive drum key socket is made to precise tolerances.

Tool - GrooveTech, Stagehand Compact Tech Kit
Our GrooveTech series kits are the ultimate for guitar and bass players, but weren't designed to be very portable. Our new Stagehand kit addresses this, with no loss in capability and at a modest price to boot! Central to the concept is a 19-piece magnetic bit set and screwdriver-style bit holder, with both inch and metric hex wrenches, screwdrivers, and sockets to handle virtually any make and model of guitar or bass. A capo and 15-blade thickness gauge with integrated ruler permit neck measurement, which is essential to proper truss rod adjustment.
