The SB400 Solderable PCB BreadBoard enables you to transfer your circuit and wires from a plug-in breadboard without recutting wires or changing your layout. The SB400 has the same pattern and spacing as a standard 400 connection point BB400 solderless plug-in breadboard. It has a standard 5-hole strip for each IC pin, just like solderless breadboards plus 4 power rails. However, it has the advantage that soldered joints provide a more reliable long-term connection than solderless contacts. The SB400 has four power rails like solderless breadboards, plus two bonus rails for power or signals. There are bonus two-hole pads along the centerline allowing DIL (dual in-line) headers to be used. GrooveTech soundhole truss rod wrench for acoustic guitars. Acoustic guitar truss rods need adjustment just like electrics, but manufacturers sure don't make it easy. Access is typically through the sound hole, sometimes through a brace to an unseen nuts. IC-LOC™ Purple prevents loosening of small fasteners from normal use and vibration, but parts can still be disassembled with hand tools. IC-LOC™ Purple seals and prevents rusting of threads. Uses

Directions: Shake well. Unscrew cap and cut off tip. Apply IC-LOC™ Purple to clean and dry threaded areas before assembling non-plastic parts. Product sets in 10 minutes, with full cure within 24 hours. IC-LOC™ Purple is anaerobic and cures in the absence of air, which occurs when a bolt, screw or nut is tightened. Cured temperature range is -60° to +300°F (-51° to +149°C). May attack some plastics. Remove residue with a damp cloth. Similar to Loctite Purple.

The contact surface of this solid brass tool fits over the crown of a fret and reseats loose fret ends without unstringing the instrument. Place the end of the tool on the crown of the fret and tap with a hammer. Also works well for pressing loose fret ends down while supergluing.

Un-Cure™ debonder will soften cured CA. If parts are bonded incorrectly or your fingers are stuck together, a few drops of Un-Cure™ will dissolve the CA in about a minute. Apply on bonded skin and roll apart fingers. Once stuck, use acetone to clean off softened CA, then wash off with soap and water. Since cured CA is essentially acrylic plastic, anything that will dissolve CA will also soften most plastics. Care must be used, therefore, when using Un-Cure on plastics. Separating plastic parts with a razor saw is usually the best option. Works Well On:

Directions: Un-Cure™ will soften cured super glue (aka cyanoacrylate, CA). To release bonded skin (not near the eyes) apply Un-Cure™, then use a small, rounded object like a paperclip to separate the skin with a peeling action, applying more Un-Cure™ as needed until the skin areas are debonded. Wash the area with soap and water.

Heavy duty wire strippers with additional cutting and crimping features. Capable of stripping 12 through 24AWG stranded wires and 10 through 22AWG solid wires, these strippers can handle most wires used in electronics.

Hand-held IC extractor for use on a variety of chip sizes. The metal ends hook beneath the chip. When a pinching force is applied to the bends of the plastic, the metal ends clamp onto the chip and pull upward uniformly to avoid bending pins. This tool can be used on widths of 7mm and up.
