Very pleased with transformer! I use these to build my 1920s power supplies.

Used these transformers to build a couple of power supplies for antique and old military radios. Just what I needed and work well.

The lead wires are quite short 0.9" ( 140VAC & 10.5VAC). The remaining secondary leads are 5.0" and the primary leads are only 3.0". Therefore it is necessary to splice additional wires onto the leads. Be careful when you do this as all the leads are very stiff. I wasn't careful enough and the result was an open primary winding. Fortunately I was able to repair the primary (the lead wire separated from the winding).

Otherwise the transformer appears be well built. I'll know more when I get my power supply design working.

I wanted to build a farm radio battery eliminator that Antique Electronic Supply used to sell. So I downloaded their free schematic and ordered this transformer. This is the same transformer that was in the kit they previously sold. The build went flawlessly and the transformer was shipped fast and packed very well. Always pleased with Antique Electronic Supply.
