A wealth of information and explanations about most tubes that were made from the 1930s to present. Tube Lore I was stolen from my library, so it has to be good. Good information on all kinds of tubes from receiving tubes, transmission tubes, industrial tubes, RADAR, etc. Is there any difference between the 12AX7A and the 7025? Yes and no, but mostly yes.
Tube Lore II, A Reference for Users and Collectors, 2nd Edition is an interesting, and comprehensive guidebook and reference for vacuum tube models, development, and versions. Extremely helpful for vacuum tube collectors and audiophile tube rollers too. Author Ludwell Sibley’s passion for thoroughness and clarity comes through in this specialty publication.
Tube Lore II a very informative and extensive review of the selections of major vacuum tubes ***** Five Stars*****
