In order for you to get the most out of these tuners, you need to get one full wrap around the tuning post and then tighten the thumbscrew. This is how Grover designed these to work.

Yes they should fit. The shaft of these tuners are 10mm in diameter. Please measure your existing tuners to insure a proper fit.

These tuners have a shaft diameter of 10mm and you will want to make sure your headstock is reamed for 10mm. Also, the setscrew that holds the tuner in place is perpendicular to the tuner key. You will want to make sure your tuners have the same orientation to prevent permanent modifications.

If the LPJ is reamed for a 10mm tuner shaft these should work. Also, if you are replacing Kluson style tuners you will have one unoccupied hole per tuner on the back of your headstock.

Even though I had the regular Grover tuners on my Schecter C1+, I was having string slippage issues, especially on the G-string. By putting these locking tuners on the guitar, it eliminated the excess string winding and solved the problem. I also like the 18:1 ratio, and because they are Grover tuners, they're built like a tank! Highly recommended.
