'Grover Deluxe' on tuners. 14:1 gear ratio This vintage machine uses a die-cast, two-piece housing for additional strength and precision. The unique bearing surface in the housing provides a rigid string post enhancing the alignment of the gear and worm. The 14:1 gear ratio provides for fine tuning.

Machine heads without a sealed gear are criticized for not having the same smooth performance, efficiency and durability that sealed gear tuners have. The SD series solves these problems by combining "Rock-solid" technology and the post collar or: "Self-Center Guide", found on enclosed gears in the base plate of the gear allowing the post to perfectly align itself with the bushing which attaches the gear to the headstock. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. Through its use of the ideal materials selected for each component part you also obtain a far superior sound. These are 3+3 (Three on a side) configuration. The 5000-00 is a perfect option to replace and upgrade the nut in almost all Fender style electric guitars. It will work in both a flat bottom or curved bottom nut slot due to its ingenious design. The 5000-00 nuts have a 9.5 in. radius This nut is made of Tusq XL, the same material as standard Tusq but impregnated with PTFE. The lubrication from the PTFE prevents strings from binding in the slots. Tusq XL offers better tuning stability especially when using a tremolo or bending strings. Tusq XL also has more of a midrange boost as compared to Tusq. Dimensions:
