The PRL-8731 are a right-handed set of Locking RATIO® Calibrated Machine Heads for electric guitars that use 6-in-line tuners. This set has oval style knobs. The tuners have a two pin casing that can be used as is, or with our Patented InvisoMatch Mounting Plates. 4 different sets of InvisoMatch mounting plates in brushed aluminum are included to make installation on most guitars fast and accurate by using your existing screw mounting holes. The Grover® 138 Series deluxe machine heads are mounted three to a plate for the vintage look that has been popular for decades. The stamped back plate provides a sturdy base for mounting vertically or horizontally on the head stock. The housings are securely fastened to the base insuring proper gear and worm alignment for accurate tuning. Bushings and screws included.

High quality SD90 tuners from Gotoh with brass posts and internal washers. Brass posts were used by Gibson® until 1975 and by Fender® until 1966. Unlike the common steel components, brass string posts and internal washers improve vibration transmission, resulting in a sound that is similar to the original vintage tuning machines.
