Unlike the common steel components, brass string posts and internal washers improve vibration transmission, resulting in a sound that is similar to the original vintage tuning machines. The Kluson® Revolution G-Mount 19:1 high ratio tuning machines offer the traditional Kluson® footprint and a newly designed sealed die-cast, one-piece housing. High gear ratio guarantees silky smooth operation, fine tuning stability with no backlash. These state of the art tuning machines are designed to directly retrofit die-cast tuning machines that have a hex head (collared) bushing and a traditional Kluson® two-screw mounting pattern. Uses the common modern 25/64 in. (10mm) peghole. The G-Mount pattern makes these a great drop-in replacement for the modern “Gibson® Deluxe” collared tuning machines found on many models. No modification or unused holes!

Machine heads without a sealed gear are criticized for not having the same smooth performance, efficiency and durability that sealed gear tuners have. The SD series solves these problems by combining "Rock-solid" technology and the post collar or: "Self-Center Guide", found on enclosed gears in the base plate of the gear allowing the post to perfectly align itself with the bushing which attaches the gear to the headstock. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. Through its use of the ideal materials selected for each component part you also obtain a far superior sound. Mounting hardware included.

3 per side. The Kluson Contemporary Series 19:1 ratio locking tuning machine uses the more desirable rear knob locking system and is designed for usage on contemporary guitars. This design requires an individual mounting hole location offset at approximately 7 O'clock or 4 O'clock depending on left or right handed application (bass or treble side). Uses the common modern 25/64 in. (10mm) peghole with a hex head type screw-in bushing and single mounting screw. This is a 3 + 3 set of tuning machines with all mounting hardware included.

The Grover® 138 Series deluxe machine heads are mounted three to a plate for the vintage look that has been popular for decades. The stamped back plate provides a sturdy base for mounting vertically or horizontally on the head stock.
