Machine heads without a sealed gear are criticized for not having the same smooth performance, efficiency and durability that sealed gear tuners have. The SD series solves these problems by combining "Rock-solid" technology and the post collar or: "Self-Center Guide", found on enclosed gears in the base plate of the gear allowing the post to perfectly align itself with the bushing which attaches the gear to the headstock. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. Through its use of the ideal materials selected for each component part you also obtain a far superior sound. Mounting hardware included.

This Kluson® 6-in-line tuning machine set has oval metal (butter bean-shaped) buttons and the improved 15:1 gear ratio for more stable and accurate tuning. The housing and button style are period correct for 1965 - 1969 production dates. These feature the Kluson® Safety Post. The Kluson Contemporary Series 19:1 ratio locking tuning machine uses the more desireable rear knob locking system and is designed for usage on contemporary guitars. This design requires an individual mounting hole location offset at approximately 7 O'clock or 4 O'clock depending on left or right handed application (bass or treble side). Uses the common modern 25/64 in. (10mm) peghole with a hex head type screw-in bushing and single mounting screw. This is a 6 in line set of tuning machines for right handed instruments (non-reverse headstocks) with all mounting hardware included

The PRL-8731 are a right-handed set of Locking RATIO® Calibrated Machine Heads for electric guitars that use 6-in-line tuners. This set has oval style knobs. The tuners have a two pin casing that can be used as is, or with our Patented InvisoMatch Mounting Plates. 4 different sets of InvisoMatch mounting plates in brushed aluminum are included to make installation on most guitars fast and accurate by using your existing screw mounting holes.
