These guitar machines are a triumph in engineering and styling. The housing provides a maximum bearing for worm, gear and string post. Gear ratio is 14:1. Worm and gear are precision-cut for perfect meshing. This eliminates backlash and slippage. Countersunk tension screw permits player to regulate turning tension to any degree. Gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service. Includes 5/8” washers, bushings and wood screws.

Machine heads without a sealed gear are criticized for not having the same smooth performance, efficiency and durability that sealed gear tuners have. The SD series solves these problems by combining "Rock-solid" technology and the post collar or: "Self-Center Guide", found on enclosed gears in the base plate of the gear allowing the post to perfectly align itself with the bushing which attaches the gear to the headstock. The SD series uses a torque balancer to ensure steady rotation of the tuner button giving high quality sound performance as well as great functionality. Through its use of the ideal materials selected for each component part you also obtain a far superior sound. Mounting hardware included.

The Kluson® Revolution G-Mount 19:1 high ratio tuning machines offer the traditional Kluson® footprint and a newly designed sealed die-cast, one-piece housing. High gear ratio guarantees silky smooth operation, fine tuning stability with no backlash. These state of the art tuning machines are designed to directly retrofit die-cast tuning machines that have a hex head (collared) bushing and a traditional Kluson® two-screw mounting pattern. Uses the common modern 25/64 in. (10mm) peghole. The G-Mount pattern makes these a great drop-in replacement for the modern “Gibson® Deluxe” collared tuning machines found on many models.
