The 505FV series design allows you to upgrade your vintage Fender® tuners to a more modern style locking tuner without making ANY modifications to your guitar. The overlapping ear design allows you to utilize the existing screw holes and the use of push in bushings, rather than screw in, means no modifications have to be made to the post holes. These inline tuners feature the famous 18:1 ratio and thumb screw locking mechanism.

High quality SD90 tuners from Gotoh with brass posts and internal washers. Brass posts were used by Gibson® until 1975 and by Fender® until 1966. Unlike the common steel components, brass string posts and internal washers improve vibration transmission, resulting in a sound that is similar to the original vintage tuning machines.
