1 answers Is the S-HTUR-A the proper turret for this board?
Asked by Anonymous on September 25th, 2015.
The S-HTUR-A is designed to be used with 2mm sized boards. The proper turret for this board is SKU-- S-HTUR-B.
1 answers Does this fits ok with S-HTUR-P turrets? Thanks.

1 answers Do the turrets require crimping or do they stay in with friction on these boards?
Asked by Anonymous on January 21st, 2018.
Yes the turrets require crimping. Do a search for the turrets (S-HTUR-A) and the staking/crimping tool (S-T1715).
1 answers I ordered the P-HTUR-D board, the blue, which it says is 2mm thickness, and that the black and red boards are 3mm... I also ordered S-HTUR-A turrets, which are for 2mm boards. Is it still true that the blue boards are 2mm?

I really like this board, its not replica grade but it is stiff, thick and with the 3mm style turrets, easy to work with. Feels like quality and holds the swedged turrets tight. I purchased Red, which is a bright firetruck red. Nice looking board.
Really nice turret board, 3mm turrets stake into this very nicely. Have used at least 2 dozen of these. Easy to cut with a hand saw, or jig saw for creative applications. Couldn't be happier.
I second John's review about the holes on these boards being to wide to hold the turrets in place before staking them. It not only makes the process much longer, it also makes it more difficult as the turrets "dance" inside the holes and they bend sometimes.
Nice construction a works very well. Thank you
Excellent works great!

Problem: These turret boards do not provide a snug fit for the turret model # S-HTUR-B or S-HTUR-D that AES provides for these boards. The description above states that they are 3 mm holes. This is not the case. The holes in the boards are approximately 2.6 ~ 2.7 mm wide, whilst the turrets are 2 mm wide. The turrets cannot be held into their respective holes on the turret board by themselves when the board is flipped over to stake the turrets. They need to be held in place by hand and this process only allows the staking of one turret at a time. This is disappointing and a waste of time. Once staked, they do stay in place but the staking process is tedious and lengthy as a result.
Solution: Provide turret boards with smaller holes or turrets with wider shafts, and/or clarify your description for ALL turret products. At the end of the day, the turrets should be a snug fit in the holes to speed up the staking process and allow you to complete your layout in one session, then stake in another session (as is the case with other manufacturers).
The turret board was great. I cut it to size using my mitre saw w/crosscut blade. The turrets I purchase from you did not fit the pre-drilled holes but, using a #34 drill bit, I easily drilled the holes I needed. The turrets fit nicely and, using the tool I bought with this order, I was able to construct the board I needed for my project.
nice heavy duty board.....very ridged
Good product. Worked well for my project!
